The psychology of imagery and observations on how type styles change our perception has brought me to photography, art and design. I began working with film because computer graphics were not yet a viable medium, I now embrace all of the creative elements available through digital photography and image manipulation.

My biggest creative pulls are larger than life imagery; the contrast of organics in created environments; the morbid surreal; strange geometries; deterioration of permanency; extreme realism and the occasional wonder of things that man has created. If you look through my portfolio you will sense a feeling more than a subject.

In addition to photography, I own a sign company, SBC SignWorks, and work with aluminum, glass, wood, canvas, fabrics and plastics.  My current projects include night photography, panoramas, single-frame time lapse photos, ultra-saturated impressionistic photos and long exposures.

I do still life and creative photography, archtectural, panoramas, product photography and food photography.  I do not do weddings, family reunions or other events where large groups of people need to be made to look good.  You can contact Chris Hart if you feel I can fill your photographic needs.
